Das Beijinger Kulturforum ist eine Veranstaltung unter der Anleitung der Abteilung für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit des Zentralkomitees der Kommunistischen Partei Chinas sowie der Abteilung für Kultur und Tourismus. Veranstaltet wird es vom Büro der Führungsgruppe zur Förderung des Aufbaus von Beijing als nationales Kulturzentrum in China und der Abteilung für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit des Parteikomitees der Stadt Beijing und wird unterstützt vom Parteikomitee sowie der Volksregierung des Bezirks Dongcheng.
Das Forum wurde im Jahr 2022 gegründet und hat „Weitergabe, Innovationen und gegenseitige Inspiration“ als dauerhaftes Thema. Es verfolgt eine internationale Ausrichtung und hat sich zu einer wichtigen Plattform für die Entwicklung der Hauptstadt im neuen Zeitalter entwickelt.

As one of the activities of the 2025 Beijing Cultural Forum, from September 19th to 24th, more than 20 professional salons were held in various cultural spaces in Beijing.
Combined with the themes of the six parallel forums, professional salons focus on topics such as digital empowerment of cultural heritage, stimulation of cultural originality by science and technology, breaking the circle of audio-visual industry integration, improvement of public cultural quality by new science and technology, innovation and development of network culture, and respect for the diversity of civilizations, and pay extensive attention to frontier topics such as the international spread of intangible cultural heritage, the interpretation and exchange of cultural heritage values, and the systematic transformation of mainstream media by large models.
