Over 100,000 teachers, students, and employees from all the 93 colleges and universities in Beijing have received nucleic acid tests as of Sunday, authorities said.
Among them, about 70 percent were on-campus faculty members, and the rest were mainly graduating students who had been allowed to return, while students of other grades are still taking online lessons at home, according to the municipal government.
A total of 20 medical institutions sent 1,118 medical workers in 474 batches to do the testing on campuses. Test results will come back by the end of Sunday.
